Victoria Bright has been appointed board chair of MobileMoney Fintech Ltd, effective March 31, 2026, the date MTN Ghana formally completed the structural separation of its mobile money operations.
Bright previously served on the MTN Ghana board, where she was involved in the planning stages of the separation. Before that she held senior governance roles across the telecommunications and financial services sectors in West Africa.
She now chairs a company with 19.3 million active users and GHS 6 billion in annual revenue, with a GSE listing targeted within three to five years. The immediate priority is building the independent governance and regulatory standing needed to operate as a standalone financial services entity rather than a division of a telco group.
