Philip Twum, Head of Business Development at Fido, was named Young Fintech Leader of the Year at the 5th Ghana Fintech Awards on March 28, 2026.
Twum has led the structuring of partnerships that extend Fido's lending products into new segments. The Access Bank partnership behind EasySave and the Bolt driver lending programme both fall within his remit, and both were recognised separately on the same night.
His was the only individual honour at a ceremony where Fido swept six categories in total. The recognition signals that the awards committee viewed the partnership strategy as a distinct contribution to the sector.
